Pretty sure that was a Manny record. Idk if Browning has done any studio stuff.

Edit: all music has him as doing a lot of the tracking. Pretty sure Manny mixed it though

Double edit: apparently I have no idea what I’m talking about. Looks like KB probably did Anchor Drops and SiN (it’s not really clear on allmusic)

Just listened to the Spires > JS. Holy moly! That stew is so fucking good! I’ll have to listen to the rest of the show tomorrow after my shift tonight. But that was pretty damn impressive!

Great show, incredible Spires, Slacker and Plunger. That said, this show is like almost exactly when BB’s vox hit rock bottom before they started improving into 2011.

This is funny because my friends dad is a huge prog/dream theater guy and whenever I’d tell him about Jake he’d practically dismiss me and say “I’ve been listening to them forever” and I always just assumed he was thinking of a different band. Turns out it was portnoy that got him into them and he really has been listening to them forever.

OMG, I was worried the OG thread was locked because of some bogus claims of “bullying” Sultan.

That or the Sultan finally revealed himself as a Bort lurker and posted a video of himself doing autoerotic asphyxiation while playing Jake’s guitar.
