And while I’m at it, the annoying thing about it is the band’s latest strategy isn’t even working that well because they’ve been stagnating in the same venues for 10 years. -Borters generally bitch about the band, but we all want them to do well… so seeing them stagnate while not playing to their full potential kind of sucks, you know?

I’ve never caught DSO and I don’t know the full logistics of it, but I would expect the improv to change, just the segues and song selection to be the same.

I must be a Bisco fan boi and don’t want to admit it, because I want the days where CW2 or BLBC is a full on dance party for every time it’s played. I want to be sober, and have my jaw tightening up because the d/b combo is rave-y AF. No Dr. Feelgood or Paradise City cuts. Give me dance parties and 15 minute long face melts.

So much more “mature material” to play aka, we take ourselves too seriously now and don’t want to take the dive back to sophomoric humor. Now, they have Dad humor, and serious songs. Like sometimes their problem is they don’t let loose with not only the improv, but them poking fun at themselves made it enjoyable… made the experience more of a party. I appreciate that they want to take the music seriously however they need to know when to “lighten up and just enjoy the ride” as Kris once said in an interview a few years back

The “magic” is in the unpredictability, not those specific groupings of songs in a set. We need more spontaneity.

05/29/10 is only interesting Hangover I have seen in the 18 years ive been seeing the band and it not even that interesting. I like the song, tho.
