Just listened to all five of the new tracks.
I take back what I said last night. Small Strides is the best of the batch.
These are all mostly uninspiring.
Isnt that what this entire album is?
If this was the first single or the second after IDKWIW I’d be excited for the album. Instead it’s now the 5th song I’ve heard and none of them have been proggy in the slightest. Meh

None of these tracks really excite me that much but I don’t think any of them are cringey in a Whistle Kids way or anything like that. Just kind of inoffensive stuff. IDKWIW, Small Strides and New Wings are solid imo. Unless they’re concealing some more hard hitting tracks doesn’t look like an album that’s going to bring much to the live show

Did anyone think Attachments (which I’ve never seen jammed out) would become the improv vehicle it morphed into since that first jammed out one in late 2017 iirc? I’d be patient and focus on those lyrics in Slacker…

All they do with Attachments is hold the end chord and then start a jam. It couldn’t be more unattached from the improv it leads to.
