I had asked Joel a month or two ago about an update on the new album and he did confirm it’s all new songs. That’s not to say that maybe a lego or two perhaps was used for a song(s) but we won’t know until we hear it I guess.

Very excited for the new album, I cannot wait to hear it. Hopefully soon!

idk I’ve been listening to the albums a bit more than usual and like them a lot more than I originally did. I find myself thinking that the already existing songs fall flat compared to the ones written for the record. I liked it’s you a lot

That little snippet sounded a little Beatlesque to me, not unlike the first time I heard MtM.

VIP is what it is. To me, it’s all about the convenience. Honestly, I wish they’d just strip it down a bunch and just make it VIP seating. I don’t like getting into a place so early, and a VIP set plus a full show, is a long day. I’ll gladly pay a premium to roll into the venue last second and have a great spot with room.

I love listening to studio UM. But it’s also nerve-wracking because you’re going to hear 2-3 of them at each show you see on the ensuing tour.

When an album is new I don’t mind hearing the new songs at shows…better than hearing 40’s Theme or Partyin Peeps for the 80th time lol

Yea obviously if the songs suck it won’t be great, but sets have felt stagnant for a while to me. Definitely need some new blood in there

This. I’ve probably done VIP 10+ times, and for me it’s a lot about the seating area for my less obsessed wife. It makes the concert experience significantly better for her which in turn makes it better for me.

The private sets can be fun, but I agree it makes for a very long day.

I’ve had some great merch items but it’s really 50/50 on something I want or not.
