Is that real? Either they have decided to put “banter” beyond a VIP-like small venue paywall, or he’s BSing about it not being much different than a normal show.
he’s either lying about the show or it’s false advertising which is also a lie.
yes. that was his response to this…
God KB is gonna be at this show. That’s a recipe for trouble when drunk @Whinergetsnothing and myself are there
Imagine if the band just read the BMG pasta out loud and then played 2 straight 3 song sets, and encored by firing KB?
I’d jump on tour immediately. It’d be the best thing they’ve done since Mantis
does the band think the fans are children who want to sit indian style on the car rug and listen to story time?
who the fuck cares about this shit? write a book or something, just shut the fuck up and play music.
who the fuck goes to a concert and thinks “damn i’d love for the band to play less and talk more”
This is giving me flashbacks to when they charged a hefty fee to watch real to reel, then charged much less a month later, and then made it free another month or two after that.
They did this once before. Some True Hollywood Stories bullshit years back. Bayliss explained the Plunger song title and meaning for the 100th time. All the stories in this show are going to be pointless and a waste of time. You’ll probably get a few good Joel burns and lose 2 songs a set because they need to fit 15 mins of talking into their tight 70 minute time frame
I guarantee I get whistle kid’d.
Being so intimate I wonder how much heckling I can do before I get kicked out
they aren’t even a cool band to begin with!!! they went to fucking notre damn and still go to church!! nobody gives a shit about your wonderbread teens and 20’s you out of touch losers. shut the fuck up and improvise!
bisco on the green is more documentary worthy than the entirety of umphrey’s career. it’s so fucking stupid. big bang theory of the jam band scene
They go to church?
This post is complete
i would bet without a doubt that at least 3 of the members go to church at least on holidays.
Idk about that but I do know they take you to Rawk N Roll church every time they hit the stage fam! #glory #V4J #WeWantTheUmphs
Ahh the good ol’ 1 foot on base, classic.
I have to imagine most people who prioritized this show are pretty big fans of the band. I can’t see a casual fan making sure to get tix to this show before it sells out. Most of us already know the origin stories to these songs so who is this appealing to besides the band??
“we get paid and can play even less music”
