I gotta chime in after reading through the recent posts of this thread. I’ve tried like hell to get into Spafford. Never seen them live, but I’ve listened to quite a bit of their live shows. I agree that their guitarist is talented, but I can’t stand the rest of the band. They’re good players and I’m all for them stretching out and experimenting, but nothing the keyboard player, drummer, or bass player does click with me. It seems very contrived and generic.
