I put on that 5 piece show they released on YouTube. Got through wappy then turned it off. I respect them going forward as a 5 piece but man the sound just ain’t there for me. Best of luck to em.
I like Mikey era panic, phish kinda sucks except for the “hits, moe. I love em but god damn if they’re not pretty terrible as well.
Besides enjoying some Grateful Dead cover bands at the bar I reckon there ain’t a lot getting me out of the house these days.
I’m glad over the years I’ve just settled into some good ol rock and roll listening. As far as live rock and roll music goes, all of them are mostly tore up or dead. ::hard sigh::
I agree tho about the 7/17 show. set two looks flawless on paper, however the show didn’t scratch my itch for umphrey’s jams that make me want to gnaw off my arm. I am still feeling excited to support them as they continue to grow into being a 5 piece. I choose to believe they will get there again
Not only am i doubling down on 7/17/26 being great, i thought the entire weekend was great, and a solid template for what to expect in the future. As I’ve said before, i feel like I’m hearing an entirely different band at times, and i like it.
Haven’t heard anything. They’re usually good for something in November though. Last year it was the Vogue Indy run, a hell of a time. Wouldnt surprised if they’re trying to get back into the studio after their October run is over.
