Random, Spontaneous Thoughts about UM (Part Pee)

True but Bayliss isn’t sounding great these days either

Rob is the ideal fit. I dont think its happening but it would fill my heart with glee. Hes a very versatile player and understands the assignment

Neighbor at least has some beautiful guitar parts, and some room to jam.

I saw Andy Frasco last week because I was a huge Aqueous fan and I couldn’t turn down a free show to see Mike Gantzer play. I couldn’t stop thinking what a waste of talent it is for him to play in that band. From a utilitarianism view, I’d love to see Mike be offered the slot.

Gantzer certainly isn’t a bad option, either. His style would fit in more with UM than Rob

I’m part of the leave it at 5 members crowd. I really feel like after last weekend, they’re starting to feel it pretty good.

That’s fair. Their band, their choice. We’re just DBMBers with opinions

Man if this isn’t depressingly true.

Edit, to add: just as an example of you gotta do what you gotta do, a friend of mine is legit one of the most incredible jazz bassists I’ve ever seen play. He should be making tons of money playing in sold out rooms.

He pays the bills by playing the same fifteen Bon Jovi & Aerosmith covers at weddings on the weekends.

Nothing they do is likely going to get me to travel for them anymore, but as long as they keep touring within 25 miles of my house I will make a point of seeing them, regardless of how many members.

Basically

Yeah. We’ll be back there next weekend for Shakedown Street.

Jake out. Johnny scales in

(Jk - they don’t need more of an excuse to play Turn and Dub and other Reggae) but I did like that he did his hw

We’re in. Hope to cross paths.

What I’ve gathered is that he’s one of Frascos best friends. Not very helpful though
