I had dinner with SA at my aunts house in like 1993. My cousin went to Creighton and she dated him. He gave me a bootleg tape of 311 Music album. I hooked all my friends on that. My Stoney baby is about my cousin lol. And don’t stay home was about their dog Lionel.
This is a much better origin story than I had. Thanks for sharing. It changes the context of Don’t Stay Home for me. ha!
I recall this show was never released as a soundboard due to some union BS regarding Central Park. Anybody know if an AUD recording is out there? It’s the last of my attended shows that I’m missing a recording of. Trying to collect ‘em all for no real reason. @opsopcopolis ?

did you check archive.org?
I did, yes! Didn’t see it.
there are three sources
archive dot org/details/um2017-07-07.tlm170.flac16
archive dot org/details/um2017-07-07.tlm170.flac24
archive dot org/details/um2017-07-07.km184.flac16
you forgot to add
BOOM ROASTED
good call, but i had already dropped the mic
damn i have no idea how i fucked up that search. but thanks!
roasted indeed
fwiw, i didn’t actually search. just LMA-> Umphreys-> filter for 2017 only, then reordered the list by “date published”
i’ve found that sometimes i am not the best “search query”-ier
appreciate it. It’s been so long since ive been on the LMA. doing a simple search on “archive.org” wasn’t as helpful as navigating to the LMA first.
archive search function sucks, that’s how I always have to track down shows.
Use the Relisten App my brah!
thats pretty cool! thanks for the heads up. I like being able to download for my personal #stash so I can #cutthecable but appreciate it regardless
You can download stuff for offline over the app as well now. The offers on your table’d
but yeah I find it like 5000 times easier to navigate than the archive
You ever have issues with app crashouts on your phone?
Occasionally yeah but latest update I haven’t had any I can recall
Miss these guys.
Remember Brownie tweeting at the band during the bridgeless issues telling them to jam more and not panic? hilarious. What a show
