Great year all around. Crowd energy during UM n1 s1 was off the charts with that Tinkles and then the Eat > Haji > Eat
Feel like that was one of the first standout versions of Eat. Neither jam was that long but remember the moments vividly and people were loving it

Bummer about the 05/23/08 video being gone. Probably best full length video they ever had available. There was good footage from the 07/19/07 for awhile too but i dont see that either
How do people listen to good UM without nugs or the super old archive matrixs?
Its crazy how few great moments are available on youtube. Both officially from the band as well as videos from fans
So many famous Biscuit jams get the SBD uploaded from fans. Pretty much all great phish jams are available on YouTube
Someone who cares should take on that project some day
Edit: Taper Section App has all the internet archive recordings available in an easy to navigate format. Forgot about that app

After listening to tGD for a week straight, other jambands sound different to me now. Strangely I’m finding myself more appreciative of this music, and how it seems like everyone from Phish thru SqFt have honored tGD through time. I love drug bands.

Yeah before nugs had streaming I would buy or torrent shows. I remember in 2011 I listened to every show before getting burned out the next year. I still have all the shows I downloaded but never listen to them.

I think my preference of this has kept me from listening to so much other music, but you can’t beat the live selection.
