Theres a dope independently owned comedy club across the street from the old Congress Theatre, its had scaffolding around it for years so thats where I always park. When I think of brutal security guards I’ll always think of the Congress first

The Congress Theater and I did not get along
My best boy and usual concert partner asked me if UM had changed their musical stylings recently. I said not really, and asked why. He said the music snippet that was playing in their IG reel for the newer concert dates was pretty awful. Looking it up, the band decided to let Can’t Rock My Dream Face be representative of who they are, during a tour announcement. There’s like 80 better songs to choose from, and that was quite the choice.
Believe it or not that is their most streamed song. Def corny but I don’t really think the background music on an IG tour post is moving the needle for them either way no matter what they choose for it.
Pretty much this. The 20 die-hard fans they have left are cumming over anything regardless. The casuals are just looking for a night out. Everyone else is like “what the fuck is an instagram reel?”
Also the band definitely has nothing to do with selecting music to use under social media announcements. Probably whoever they’re contracting socials out to these days just picked the most popular song
