Hell yeah!
Welcome to the club. There are dozens of us
At one point 200 shows was in reach. Now not so much
Where do I get my letter jacket?
This made me think of those shitty umbowl vip jerseys or whatever they did back for umbowl 3 I think
Hell yeah, 198 more and Iāll be there with ya.
Okay I am in for Madison
Thank you @DiabetesCOLE
Lurve you dog
Iām both sad and OK with the fact that Iāll be missing my 1st Madison UM show since 2003, when Neil Young was playing MKE the same night that UM was at the Terrace in Madison. Iām planning to be in Green Bay though.
Yaaass
Rather see them in GB this time around. I donāt like the Sylvee in Madison. I want them to play Orpheum or Barrymore again for nostalgia.
At least bring back multiple night runs in Madison.
Just caught up on the last 150 posts in this thread and Iām disappointed to see it was all Umphreyās discussion.
This is part of my logic as well. Aside from that ā03 show, I havenāt missed them in Madison since my 1st UM/Barrymore in Dec ā01. The Sylvee is not very appealing for a number of reasons, and I just canāt understand why that over Orpheum. That, and itās not worth taking an extra PTO day at this point. Iām sure theyāll play 1 of the few tunes Iāll be hoping for in GB, but Iām not really chasing anything these days.
If I didnāt have these kids or āwifeā I would do the whole weekend. I always like seeing them in Minneapolis too and seeing @thefussyasianman
Same dude, same. Damn āwifeā and ādaughterā are why Iām missing GB/Madison and the Summerfest show too. But these minor sacrifices should make hitting some late-summer/fall Biscuits all the more reasonable for me.
Odds on Bayliss dedicating Booth Love to Jordan Love when they play GB?
I hope he says something like " Green Bay⦠you guys have cheeseā¦andā¦cheese. So much going here unlike a real football town like Chicago"
the barrymore is my favorite place and host of like some of the best umph shows ive ever seen easy. The Orph too. Mke always has killer shows too. that 06 run from mad town to the rave was amazing even thou the ballroom blows. umph still can make it sound better than 99 percent of the bands that play that venue sooo
