Stop what you are doing and listen to the 08/25/06 version
Iâve ignored songs with sit ins because I assume that itâs just going to be standard fare. Yesterday I heard Philâs from 7/10/11 and some dude named Nick Blasky was in that lovely and rowdy jam. Any recs with good sit ins?
The Mail Package has Redman and Victor Wooten. The jam is incredible, though, and still one of the coolest things i have seen them do
The 11/13/09 ITK w/ Gordo is really cool
For most part, though, its Redman or bust
Magner brings the heat.
Yea, Louisville GYM w/ Magner is top-tier UM
Edit: 09/22/12
I would say that and the Mail Package i mentioned are the two best that i am aware of
Damn right it is!
I canât remember the date but i swear that i saw that the lead singer of Ugly Kid Joe once had a sit in lol.
Pretty much any Stanley Jordon sit-in is fantastic. He plays more traditional/classical style on an electric && lemme tell you what - itâs electric!

Also love 6/30/07 FF > fancy reprise
Gonna spin after client time. Thanks for this
I was lucky and got to catch a few shows with Jordan
Incredible player and it made for some interesting moments, but always felt like those shows could have been better
He seemed to want to do similar stuff at all the shows he played as opposed to really letting loose
Never going to be upset about getting to see him play, though. His solo shows are incredible
Really wish that Al Di Meola sit-in would have came to fruition
Just put it on, Iâll listen to anything with trance dad Magner
It was right when i was starting to get burnt out on UM and a full two-years after i had given up on the Biscuits
When i saw all the hype from people who were there and finally gave it a chance a month or so later i was absolutely floored
10/30/10 Tribute with Chris Wood on upright bass is another good one
Yeah that was a banger
I dont think i have ever heard that. Sounds awesome
3/7/05 encore with Noah bad poker > blbc. Short but awesome
4/30/05 gabby lala on jam>Norwegian wood &
Topaz on Ringo > Red Baron > Ringo.
12/30/04 Much Obliged w/ Buckethead is interesting. Although it gets a little too chaotic at times
The Summer Camp '09 Mulches w/ Claypool is the most disappointing sit-in i have seen
When he brought out the whamola instead of his bass it was instant blue balls
That Les sit in was quite the disappointment. I was hoping that theyâd rectify that last summer when they were crossing paths at certain festivals.
