This is probably in my top 10 UM shows, that whole first set is fucking sick. McL requested the Waiting Room encore and it hit the damn spot. Oasis One-Sixty was the top 2 weirdest places I’ve seen them and it probably isn’t #2.
I thought N1 of this run was decent. N2/N3 were really good. I’d take this 10 times out of 10 for a 3 night run (not that I can handle such things these days. 2 my max )
Actually, I think I’m going N2(clear fav), N1, N3

@GizaButler @thefussyasianman want to have a watch party at my place?
I’ll probably watch it at some point I’m going to see Flecktones that night it’s premiering.
Lol. Sure. Is it on demand? Or there some “event” stream that will crash and be unwatchable?
Oh bruh wanna meet up before flecktones? Pabst on Sunday?
Yes me and @wiscomtonslacker are going not sure where our seats are since he bought the tickets. Definitely could meet up for some drinks downtown before the show?

This was the show where I finally got it. My mind was blown during the shreddy transition to snuka pt3. The solos in 40s were beautiful and it was my first time hearing AiT. All of these songs except plunger and the covers were new to me. Having a headful didn’t hurt, either.
Kinda wish there wasn’t a tDB transition during the covers, they ruined the floyd vocals brain damage and eclipse.
Also, what? Now we’re doing a week and a day out anniversaries?
Same
Ha! Naw I just have been doing randUM archive pulls to listen throughout the day. So I do my best to take it from around the time of year we’re currently in. I happened to notice it was almost of age, so I figured I’d mention it
That’s sweet you were there tho! Never got around to ‘roo and kinda wish I could have seen it during the jam heavy years
There wasn’t a ton of jamming in this show. Extended plunger, Mrs. Robinson’s Strut (maybe first time according to the repeated stews thread?) in Intentions Clear, small jam in Blue Echo, and some really great improv in AiT.
Earlier that day was a short day set that was also a ton of fun:

late night show
seamless full-band switch with Big Gigantic between sets
This was such a special night for me. My first time seeing Radiohead earlier, among other highlights, was monumental. Then to wander over to this show was incredible. They announce they’re playing another set as Big Gigantic takes over. The sun rise with Booth Love. Thunderstruck. Wizard. Put the hook in me forever with this band. The Triple Wide is the standout improv of the show, check it out!
