The last time I did this was the last time UM surprised me and left me in the clouds. I love Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” especially when they dedicated it to Joel’s dad. Teared up a bit. And then they played it among other special songs (Keefer) and I was feeling that way. Like others have said, they know how to deliver. It just sucks they often choose not to.

I went full squeak from 2021-2022 but summer 22 drew me back to UM a bit. Hope to catch 2-3 more shows this year.

I do miss the years of hitting 30 shows a year and no responsibilities. But kids happen and I still make a point to see anywhere between 5-10 shows a year now.
Just play Milwaukee this year and we can bort wook my house for the weekend.

Its impossible for me to get much FOMO these days. For anything really. UM could play Nachos and a 50 miniute Fir in my hometown and if i missed it i would be completely fine with it, while still being happy that it happened and folks got to witness it. Same for all bands, though. I still travel and see way more music than the common person, but have lived/experienced enough that i will never feel like im truly missing out.
All the power to the folks out there killing it still, though. Ill be rooting for you from my dab rig and pool.
