The whole thing is so funny. There were no assigned seats and showing up early didnât guarantee anything. Itâs her own dumb fault for waiting 11 hours.
I waited 14 hours in line for the Oregon Eclipse and it was totally the promoters fault and I still had a killer time lol.

Whatâs really stupid about that venue and the parking situation is you buy a B ticket that has âlimited viewsâ for 2/3rds the price. You buy a premium ticket and because you show up early you get parked right next to the B section you now have a limited view. It happened to us last time, so Friday we said fuck it and parked wherever we wanted. A worker came up to us and tried to move us but at that point the lot was starting to fill up. So he just gave up.
Yea, they pretty much screw you over no matter what unless you go where you want. In ATL some girl told us if we wanted to be middle we got there too early. I mean I get it, she was doing her job and doing what she was instructed to do, but just really dumb planning to basically punish people who showed up early. That said, sucks to suck.
It was the same shit at Billy Strings in Mchenry last year. First night we got there early and followed the rules, we ended up all the way to the right and couldnât see or hear anything, awful experience. The second night we still got there early but parked wherever we wanted and no one stopped us. Much better experience. Drive ins were cool for what they were but Iâm glad theyâre gonna be a thing of the past here soon

Lets all be real, though, the band could use a little public shaming. It is good for them. They need to know KB has painted them in a bit of a money hungry sell-out light at times in recent years. Not calling them sell-outs, just saying. Sometimes when people get a little too chummy you gotta knock them down a peg or two.

I keep holding out hope that McHenry Biscuits will change from drive in to pod. Just seems so unnecessary to play a drive-in show in late June
