NYE 25 Run

I’d never knock talent considering I’ve never been on stage. I’m going by antics mostly. But I’ll say this, at least Frasco isn’t playing a character and he’s genuine to a fault.

Do we know that? I am guessing a lot of it is for show and he doesnt always practice what he preaches. Usually people who rage that hard have some burried sketchiness. I think i am a genuine person but when i was drunk and high 24/7 i was a lowkey dirtbag

Genuine=genuine dirtbag, just to clarify lol.

Looks like 2-day salt shed passes are $129.10. If that’s after taxes and fees, not horrible

Seemed very fair. Actually bought in advance for the first time in a while.

Was the $129 after fees and taxes? Started to ask me for my CC info before showing me the total

It’s a truly great music venue. The ownership group also operates the other best venue in the city: Thalia Hall, and Empty Bottle, and I think SPACE up in Evanston.

They really knocked it out of the park with the Salt Shed. Definitely was designed with the fan experience first and foremost. Clean, modern, huge bathrooms, lots of bars, the outdoor balcony accessible from the second level has a magnificent view of the skyline and is a perfect spot to hang during setbreak. Drinks are actually reasonably-priced. There’s a huge arcade and a Goose Island brew pub on property for pre- and post-show hangs.

Such a breath of fresh air in Chicago music after Aragon & The Riv dominated that size venue for so long. The only negative aspect (as of now) is that there’s not really anything to do within immediate walking distance of the venue.

the Seated platform is stupid in general. Incredibly bizarre interface

Not defending anything here but he seems to have a great reputation amongst other musicians. He also seems to live that way off stage as I’ve been around him before when he said he had been up for over 24 hours and was clearly still drunk. I can’t imagine he maintains that when not touring though

Maybe he does a good job of turning it off. Most addicts dont though. Once youre going that hard its a lifestyle. Maybe he is a unicorn though. I dont judge ragers. Most my friends love to party. I love to party. I love to party so much it almost killed me. I just dont think its a talent that i care to see on stage. Others dig it though so good for them.

In for both 12/30 and NYE now. First UM shows for me since February, time to see what Zwang is all about I suppose!

I wonder if they’ll do any fan voting stuff with the nye run being 3 sets each.

I guess if you break it down to 10 sets for 4 days, it’s kind of like a 5 day run, and there’s really no need to get cute.

I already have my piss break planned for the Chicago shows. The second frasco sits in with them.

I hope Gantzer is still playing with Frasco’s band on those dates

You’re acting like Bayliss isn’t gonna have him on stage the entire time, like some demented crackhead MC.
