NYE 2024

There’s no mountain range to block moist Gulf of Mexico air from advecting north.

Plus the endless fields of corn and soybeans pump a lot of additional moisture into the atmosphere this time of year.

I fucking still love them the same as I did 20 years ago! I wish I could go to New Years. Wife got Covid after UM Marietta NYE two years ago and she said no way in hell we’re flying to CO to see them lol. I’ll catch NYE next time they’re in Georgia.

Keep the heat, I’ll keep the cold. We’ll both be happy.

Pretty sick of Midwest winters, although they have been incredibly mild over the past few years. Living in AZ ruined me, fuckin hate winter.

In for this. Couldn’t be happier. Anyone has extra room in a rental house or wants to throw down on hotel rooms, lemme know!

Sounds pretty cool. Two cities, although not far away, makes for more logistical pain.

What if I told you ski resorts have big patios?

I’ve gotten very, very drunk on that exact patio after a day on the slopes
