That is wild to consider. That was fun, the time back in '18 I wanna say @bagelglory and I made the trek up there for one show. s/o to @snapfam for giving us a spot to crash for a few hours before we made the trek back. Hope you guys still get hangs in when ya can
Cool story, bro. Ter thoughts below:
To this day, I just double-checked that HBC show is mile for mile the farthest distance I ever went for one show (<350 miles). Technically VT last year.. is like 30 or so miles further.. but that doesn’t fit the criteria as even though that was also a 1-off show; I planned a halfway watermark-stop due to the lessons learned from the trek to that HBC show.
Legendary night, we had a grand ol time. The covers were spot on in that show even tho there were like 5 of em ahah, well executed. Just holy shit, at the least plan a lunch/stretch if ya can.
Hotels, airbnbs, hell, even campsites are a Godsend. Just bc ya can do it all at once doesn’t mean ya should. Splitting up the drive a little helps one take in the various cities and small towns along the way. Appreciate the beauty of this country, feel some of the different ways of life & culture that is certainly a benefit of touring and traveling for shows. Cheers if you actually read this, just some late-night tour reflective thoughts.

For this tour, can i assume that both bands will have an extended set each, swapping sets each day, and a big ol group hug at the end?
I would say 2 hour sets. Or something around that
