Yeah, I’ll just be doing our local show here at Meijer Gardens. There was a time where I would have probably done Indy and maybe Ravinia.
Ravinia was fun years ago because we had a massive beer share when the craft been craze was at it peak. Most of the people there were on the earlier iterations of this message board, can’t remember exactly what year it was, but it was a good time.
moe. has some shows in D.C. next weekend, guessing they’re just waiting to announce them on the bill until after those 2 shows play out.

Some of these proximity clauses are just stupid. Not going to buy a last minute ticket for moe DC in March because I can see a set in Baltimore in June

UM is playing Pisgah in May and then again with Moe in July or whatever. Sucks cuz I already got tickets for the shows in May and doubt ill wanna do the July show. But I’d really rather see Moe. So who knows? Maybe ill actually see 3 UM shows this year

Ravinia is a no driving show for me since I live right off the train line that gets us there. I can be drunk on a train and it’s actually being responsible.
Used to be legal to drink on the metra. No idea if it still is
Took the Metra into the city for the 2011 Thanksgiving UM shows and we thought it would be a good idea to take a shot of black velvet at every stop between Highwood and wherever the hell we got off the train.
I do not remember getting to the Aragon.
It is. They have limits on certain holidays. When I was there for the January UM shows, there were still signs up about no alcohol on the trains after 10PM or something on New Years.
I have a very similar story from that weekend. Was denied entrance at the Aragon for being too hammered. Went to a different guy like 5 mins later and got in.
