Melodic Piano Focused Jams

I love 1/30/11 Blue Echo. What are other jams similar to this?

8/6/2012 EOTR comes to mind. One of the prettiest jams I’ve ever heard from them (although i’m not sure how piano focussed it is)

Not “pretty” but definitely piano focused. I will fluff the Ringo > Haj > Ringo off the Murat album until the day I die. Certainly there are tons of better jams but this one is just a pure pleasure to listen to. I can’t help but smile and dance every time I hear it.

Live at the Murat guided me through the noob days. Fuck gonna put that on now.

Same here. First UM I ever truly loved. The Push the Pig lyrical stew also holds a special place in my heart

9/4/09 wappy is the first one that came to mind for me

truf.

I always say some of the best stuff comes from when the band drops to just Joel and builds it back up from him.

I’ve never listened to the Murat record

Missing out man. Nothing stand out from an improv standpoint but a really good showcase of UM for the average music listener.

Dang @opsopcopolis, he called you an average music listener

No, just that the live album is a great entry point and for any music lover it’s a good album. Obviously someone who likes 2011 UM has heard better UM but it’s a crime to skip over a solid release like live at the Murat.

The WMM from the Murat is pretty cool too

Joel lays down the foundation and then the band SOARS on top of it. Music to skydive to!

only about 1:30 so far for this playlist, which makes a pretty nice first set. cshore crushed 4 hours on his own the other day. i’m confident the collective bort can do better than this.

What playlist? Eh?

Also idk what exactly I crushed for 4 hours
