Initial thoughts of this after 15 minutes

He will probably be fine for most jams. Which honestly for someone like me is enough. I dont listen in free time so i just want to see a few real jams the 1-2 shows per year i still see. Not looking to them to blow my mind and be my source for cutting edge music in 2025

The compositions is where he might lack. He doesnt sound like he is as good as Kris, but not many people are.

I am still going to all local shows regardless and not going to any non-local shows regardless so doesnt seem like it will impact me much outside of a good day of borting

This dopapod sounds great though. Going to keep it rolling

Glad someone gave this a shot. Whole show is pretty terrible. Good thing he gave up drums permanently after this show

Without listening I can tell it’s probably not great. He’s more of a pocket/driving force type drummer. Umphreys is pretty far out of his style and range.

Been seeing em since 2010. 2015 - 16 was a really good stretch. I think 2021 was my favorite year though. Evey show was a heater. I also just prefer Fro over Zwang.
