So for the folks who have seen it, are people standing up and boogieing down, or is this a sitting show. For the madison show I specifically got seats in the last row in the balcony at the orpheum because if I want to dance I can just do it. I caved and watched a video of them doing Sheltering Sky and oh boy
I’m sure people are seated
Not a knock on the band, I dig some of their stuff. But how in the world would you “boogie down” to KC?
Very carefully
by being a math and prog nerd
Last time I saw KC there were precisely 0 people standing in the entire crowd. Not sure if Beat is any different though.
For the Napa show, people are stood up for the encore. People stayed seated the rest of the time.
This music is not boogieable.
Jam band people do that one dance they do to all kinds of shit tho
I realized last night at SCI that my moves are wayyy too gangster for that band. I felt pretty awkward most of the time.
You looked good for back here
Heading up to Charlotte tonight. Will be my first time seeing Vai play and my first show at the Knight Theatre.
Have fun dancing
I’ll be boogieing down
The level of musicianship I witnessed last night was off the charts.
But also, I’d love to be in a band where no one can tell if you play a wrong note.
Love hearing this. I can’t fucking wait! Got tix for 10/26 here in cincy. So stoked
I was supposed to go in Denver, but can’t make it anymore. Kinda stressed trying to figure out where i can fit it in. Can’t be missing this tour
