Let’s get this OP updated with some jams OP
Will do later
4/30 Kabump and 5/8 Ringo
Just finished 5/7. Crooked is fucking great!
Im expecting a Pontiac Fir in this thread by the end of the weekend.
5/1 Puppet
I really like the 5/15 Triple Wide. Really nice patient second half of that jam.
Definitely agree on 5/15 Triple Wide being in the discussion
Probably not JOTYs but some Tier 2 jams that I have replayed a lot are 5/1 JO > End Bridgeless and Wappy Sprayberry. Whole second set is my favorite of the tour so far
05/08 Ringo is my nomination, and yes I was in attendance at that show.
Tonight’s Push the Pig.
Big if true
Hard to argue
That Push the Pig was indeed quite nasty, enjoyed that a bunch.
New Haven Crooked One is still easily the best thing they have done this year for my tastes.
I’ve gone back to this one a few times - it is so pretty. I couldn’t tell you if it was JOTY since I haven’t heard Atlanta yet but definitely is my favorite seen improv of 2021.
I think if I had to vote on HoF for 2021 today, my votes would be
On the fringe is 5/1 JO > End Bridgeless, 5/14 Resolution, 6/25 Crooked One and 6/26 Kitchen. Was listing out my favorites while listening to Friday and Saturday’s shows and there’s a lot of good stuff from this year… so far
My votes would be:
Agreed. So that defaults to levon helm studios jams for me.
Been listening to the Albany shows to and from work this week…that’s a great couple of shows with jams for days…love the chill out Remind Me vibes, and the Kitchen and 1348 are pretty damn groovy. The straight proggy rock > soaring peak from that August is great as well.
