There was one other really dank 2019 Linear but I can’t remember what it was. I wanna say it was before the 4/4 one
7/3 Linear is good
Wasn’t half of it a cover jam though? I remember getting into this argument multiple times
Maybe. I hought the SS had the Roundabout teases. But I could be wrong.
Either way 4/4 was def LOTY
yeah that one
Yes there were a few teases, but the peak is top tier.
Seattle '13 still best Linear ever? I think so
Yes
The Halloween Jam of 10/30/10 is my fave.
Red Tape 7/3/13. Short but sweet soaring peak. Fun show overall with some gems. Better than the two CO shows that followed.
Absolutely!
What about the Gothic one from 7.4.10?
I’ll need to check that out. Truth be told I don’t think I’ve ever listened to that show.
But I’ll toss out another great Linear. 10/30/10 St Louis
I think that’s one of the best peaks they have ever done, ever. Like biscuits status shredding.
This one is so good
Yeah it really was. I was working at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver at the time and was supposed to work at 5:45AM after both shows that weekend. I made it the first morning pulling an all nighter thanks to some PEDs but after the Gothic show I ended up at the Sheraton and someone had rented the top floor out which wasn’t a room but like a banquet hall with a kitchen area. There was a ton of people up there and Jake and Waful stopped by at some point. I remember double fisting beers at 5AM on 7.5.10 telling my buddy he needed to call the Hyatt employee absence line for me. Ended up calling out again on my next shift later that week and got fired. Then I just trimmed weed the rest of the summer before moving to Austin. Aww yeah!
That’s 7/4 show is so good. That FF is a monster. That room was way too hot though. Shit was like a sweat box.
Denver Fillmore ‘09 Intensions Clear. @Andrusy loves this one.
Pretty sure there’s a fire Tribute from Denver 2010 as well.
12/31/2011 Kabump
I know the second jam section is centered around Rocket Queen, but man does this cook. Flawless execution of using a cover/tease/whatever. First jam section is no slouch either.
1/30/2015 Fir. Always been a big fan of this one, the 2nd part is simply majestic with a gorgeous lead line that crescendos perfectly to end the jam, A+ stuff for my tastes.
Probably my favorite jam I’ve ever seen UM play. So majestic and groovy.
