anyone catch the Blue Echo vocal stew from Pine Creek.. canāt make out a lot of what Bayliss says but i think thereās some details in there for sure..

I get where youāre coming from, it was a really enjoyable show. Loose and they still peak stews well. Lotta patience, was great to see. I love Jake, but they definitely still throw down sans the duel guitar.
Peeps was cool to see with moe. as that song requires at least 2 guitars for the soaring ending

The long and short of it is: we donāt really know.
Some people hear things through various grapevines and inside sources, but all weāve officially heard form the band is āJake is taking a necessary leave of absence for personal reasons. We love him immensely and support him completely.ā That was March 9th.
Other than that, nothing has been said officially by either the band:management or Jake. People do love to speculate though, and the most prevalent theory is that he is dealing with a drinking problem that was adversely affecting his relationship with the rest of the band, or was burnt out from touring, or some of A and some of B. But really, we donāt know.
If you want to scroll back through the 1800+ posts here you can get a better timeline, but basically heās been gone since February and thereās no timeline for a return. I think itās assumed at this point that heāll be gone until they announce either heās back or heās not coming back. Last update was something like āJake will remain off the road for the time beingā which was right before the Memorial Day run.
