Obviously, but if i was fired or quit a job, I’m usually not in the business of promoting the business i used to work for. I’m just framing the argument that it’s possible, because I’m part of the group that thinks that “Jake’s not working in March.” was all they felt they needed to say on the matter, to try to avoid rumors that aren’t are business.

Forgotten in the midst of the other clues.
I’ll admit that after watching some streams of 2011 and some streams from the beginning of this year, i observed that Jake does look… gaunt and kinda twacked, and wondered if he got the best of himself.
I’m not sure footage from 15 yrs ago is the best representation of who anyone is today

Based on some of the wacky right wing political shit I’ve seen his account “like” on instagram, I wonder if politics has anything to do with his departure. Would be so fucking lame if MAGA ruined Umphrey’s.
