Jake always seemed like such a reserved music nerd, in my brain all he did was just play and obsess over music 24/7 lol. Never felt like I knew anything about the guy at all despite being a hardcore fan for 20 years. It was much better that way it turns out lol

90% of musicians I’ve either worked with or met in the wild are just chill, normal people. 5% are douchbag divas, and the other 5% are cool enough to live up to the hype (JB was one of those people).
