You still wouldn’t make money in um, considering their popularity

They are still plenty popular. Everyone has taken hits post-Covid except for a very select few.

I’m not gonna speak much on the subject, but would obviously be an honor and flattering to be considered (if they’re considering anyone).Nice to see my name mentioned either way.

Colin Shore posts here?

I was just joking. I’m one of the fools on here who’s still giving em money. I’m glad your name is being thrown around like that post.

If there is to ever be a second guitarist again, he’s at the top of my list by a mile.

I listen to your playing, level of talent, and assuming your knowledge of their music, it would seem like a natural fit…not unlike Scotty (although I feel like your level of talent is greater than his).

I’d be so pissed if UM killed SqFt

Obviously, this conversation is hypothetical. But what if it actually elevated SqFt to take some kind of drug band torch

If Metallica hired Les Claypool after Cliff died, we’d never have Primus.

How bout an UM run with Squeaky Feet opening and @cshore sitting in on a few UM songs like Gantzer at Deep Dive, for the sake of hearing some of our favorite songs again in their full instrumentation

I’m a huge Metallica fan and not even a big Claypool guy, but that would’ve never happened. He’s better than anybody in that band.

Can’t picture it

that’d be kinda badass if cshore ended up being the new jake. it’d be like that mark wahlberg movie they used to show on vh1 all the time when I was a kid

Also @cshore on talkback mic directing jams is a pretty perfect fit for Jake’s spot.

But agreed with everybody else, I’m more interested in seeing the future of Squeaky Feet, and what Colin and Kevin do on stage together than any future UM stuff.

We’ll always have Colin and Mihali together for UM50 to look forward to

I have no plans to see these guys anymore until I hear something that piques me.

However, if @cshore joins these guys I will take off from work and get in the van immediately.

Do people think an actual hiatus would have prevented these lineup changes, or were they inevitable?

Kris’ surgey would been a great time for everyone to take a year off. I can imagine the issue being UM business relys on consistent gigs.
