This doesn’t happen on iPhone.
Mine looks like this all the time on a Pixel 5
This started happening to me too a few days ago
I wonder if it’s a Google storage indicator of sorts.
Happened to me as well.
What kind of poverty Androids do you guys have?
The kind that doesn’t limit us to the Overlords of Apple
I have a Pixel 5 and none of the issues you are describing.
My phone is 3 years old lol. I’m actually waiting for my new phone to get in, through Amazon.
I dug through my apps, and found a duplicate -Bort installed however it said disabled. I’m convinced that it’s a data storage issue. It probably bothers me more than the others because I’m having performance issues with the phone on top of it.
Lmao
Damn it.
Got 'em
Happened on my 5 too. Weird.
Weird
Well, fucking karma. My icon is smaller today as well.
Sorry about your small “icon”
For those still on Android…why?
I had an HTC Incredible in 2010, ended up losing it at bar on Thanksgiving that year, went back to a dumb phone for a few months, bought a Palm Pixi, then someone returned my HTC Incredible to me several months after I lost it which was crazy but I ended up losing it again and just used a few burners for a while until I got a Nokia Lumia (Windows phone) in late 2012 which I had until 2014 when I switched to Android again getting a Google Nexus then getting a Samsung Galaxy which I had for a minute until I upgraded to an LG G4 in 2015 then I got an iPhone 5C for work which was my first iPhone. Ended up getting a Galaxy Note next and it wasn’t until September 2017 that I made the switch fully to iOS getting the iPhone 8 Plus and now I can’t believe it has only been five years since I made iOS my primary mobile operating system.
Looking back on the last decade plus of phones in my life just reaffirms my belief that being a contrarian when it comes to technology doesn’t pay off often. There is reason people are sheeps to Apple. Their shit just works. I’ve tried every which way to not adopt the Apple ecosystem and now I am only missing the Watch.
TL;DR - Android blows. iOS is a much better experience.
I had an HTC in the early 2010s that I loved.
Expandable storage was on my must-haves list when I bought my last phone (used Galaxy S8 in Feb 2021), so anything Apple was off the table. This phone is going strong and I don’t see any reason to change it any time soon.
I also refuse to pay more than $200 for a phone, and that doesn’t get you much in the (used) iPhone world last time I checked. The S8 at $150 was hard to beat.
Because I like to make Apple users cry about green bubbles
