Has UM's popularity declined?

Filmore was the emptiest I’ve ever seen for an umphreys show. They had like 75% of the balcony closed off with a curtain. Stasik might’ve owned the libs but time seems to be owning umphreys

2015 was the only year UM sold out the Det Fillmore

Did they regress in 2016 then? Or did they skip it? 2017 was the first two nighter and it’s been two nights ever since but no idea how ticket sales have been. Thought there was plenty of room in the balcony in 2017, last time I saw them there.

Theres been some wings stadium runs sprinkled in. There was about 5k tix sold in 2016. Wild to think about that looking back

I wish the band would operate like a public company and release their financials so I could nitpick more of their decisions over the years. Wild to think I’ve seen over 200 shows when they never play the West Coast. That’s why I’ve seen them in 41 states.

2020 was pretty undersold (pre-pandemic), but feel like 2017-2019 were all well attended from memory.

@jwelsh8 , how do we submit an information request to the band? Curious to see how Fillmore sales have been since 2017.

Also curious to see how many tickets they sold in Oregon since 2012 by year. If you could get us that information along with your DBS reports that would be great.

They should be able to book the Intersection again.

Kinda hoping they come back to Madison and play the Barrymore at this point. 3 night run, Fall 2022. Mark it.
