Just based on the towns i still regularly see them, which is just STL/Chicago/Indy/Detorit. But i feel like those are core UM cities.
My anecdotal experience with ______ was ______ so it must be true.

Its all speculation, for sure. People who dont like the band now will read into it more. People who still love them will write it off. Same shit and then you top eachother off.

It’s almost like they’re the race track dog that caught the rabbit. Early on they looked up to moe. and their audience. They did the switching off sets tour and moved up to bigger and bigger sets at Summercamp. Then one day they eclipsed moe., Summercamp suddenly because their festival and moe. was still at the top of the lineup due to legacy. But then what? Being as big as Phish was out of the question, but maybe they could get as big as Panic. They tried really hard to build up that fanbase, but other bands came along and suddenly they find themselves as no longer the hot new thing, the audience’s attention is looking elsewhere.
Forget the race dog analogy, they’re a trophy wife that got old. Plastic surgery isn’t doing it.

Let’s just say their popularity is declining and move on. I really don’t understand the endgame here. Is someone going to jump in and help them right the ship? Or is this just a “see! I told you so!” kinda deal
