Agreed, it’s stuff most people give away or throw out. Maybe Scotty is doing more for the fans than the money?
Haha I’m sure these aren’t things he’d have a hard time giving away. In fact, he could have said come grab them for free.
I sell a lot of shit on craigslist/FB marketplace. I don’t perceive any risk to it any more for cheap stuff. I get a little nervous with expensive stuff where it would be worth somebody’s time to rip me off.
I can list something dumb for $10 and let it collect dust for a few weeks until somebody reaches out and tells me they’re going to grab it off my porch after they send a venmo payment. Easy stuff. Sure, I might have to respond to 5 people before somebody finally commits to coming for it, but I’m sitting here working from home and borting anyway, so that’s not that big of a deal. If there’s a combined effort of 10 minutes for a $10 item and I feel like I saved something from the dumpster, and stopped somebody else from buying something new and ultimately creating more trash, then I feel accomplished.
I got so incredibly annoyed by all the ghost/no shows/horrible communicators from FB marketplace that I just sell shit on ebay now. Been selling lots of sports cards lately so got myself a cheap label printer, which is a game changer. Driving to the post office every now and then is much preferred to trying to organize an in-person meet up with some complete idiot who is probably gonna bail on me anyway.
Popularity down so much Jake stopped going to shows.
Someone probably made this joke already weeks ago.
