I had just showed it to the “wife” like 2 days prior to them debuting it in Denver.
That moment was definitely pushin

is it the badger badger… mushroom mushroom snake?
I saw Dopapod a bunch in '14/'15, were they that cool back then or is this like a recent resurgence? I enjoyed the shows I saw I just wasn’t blown away.
has the lineup changed in the past 6 years?
yes
they’re the shit right now. i also was not blown away when i saw them in 2016
i think yiou saw them during the period someone else was drumming with them. but their original guy came back
damn, 'ppreciate the response.
I’ve seen Rob Compa play with some side projects recently and he put my jaw on the floor
They’ve really bumped it up a notch in the improv department since their mini hiatus, but since fall tour has been a totally different level
I’ll check out some shows, I’m sure there are plenty of recs if I scroll up and DMOR. Maybe I’ll listen to the strip mall show to see if they’re on fire or if @StoneJackBaller had really good droogs.
.
There were two playlists posted in the last few days. I’d grab one of those
looks at the tracktimes and they’re all under 7 minutes
“STONEJACKKKK!!”
Careful with that mentality dude. I’ve seen Billy Strings tracks that were 4 minutes long and contained 20+ minutes of improv
The drugs were fire. I can Kang that
Lmao no way. The old ebaumsworld thing? Are they gonna cover Schfifty-Five next?
Yeah, that was during the Scotty Zwang on drums years. They were not good then. I saw several underwhelming shows with Zwang
Badger Video from the early thousands?
Badger badger badger badger?
Edit: should have finished reading the thread first
This isn’t the right one. Ain’t sexy enough.
I saw some amazing Zwang shows
There were plenty of Zwang shows that I preferred to pre-Zwang Fro shows from back in the day. My jamband knowledge has gone out the door but I’m sure someone could post some recs
