I think he has had enough after #400
1348 is the perfect show opener. I love when open with this song.

Fun was had, what a great two nights. Now it is time or bed.
I think it really depends on the wind, if itâs blowing hard (which is often is) the sound gets washed out and sucks.
I wont not go to Red Rocks, but its still a pain and there are plenty of other beariful venues that are way more enjoyable and less of a pain in the ass.
Also admit i hate having to dedicate 30 minutes and a work out everytime i pee (which is a lot because i have an overactive bladder).
I get why its one of the most famous venues in America, but for me, meh.
Yea, if its windy you have to be down low or its going be super choppy all night.
When its calm it sounds great everywhere though, IMO.
I actually enjoy the walk to the bathroom. I usually hike all the way to the top to use the bathrooms by museum. Then I can let gravity takes its course on the way back and fall down the stairs to my spot.
Exactly! Those ones at the top are the way to go.
Stop at the top for a second to appreciate the view, find your way back down to your spot
I think itâs probably a classic example of a venue that sounded amazing for non amplified music, and it just earned that reputation despite it not really translating to modern amplified music.
I donât think it ever really sounds âgoodâ at the top, but has a sweet spot as all amplified venues do. That said, the big lineups/early doors time means if I want to tape (or just want to sit somewhere that sounds good), it does kinda turn into a full day thing.
I understand why people love it, just not really my thing.
Why is Ben talking about how he doesnât like Red Rocks making me want to go there tonight lol
Me not liking something usually means most jamband fans think itâs the best
If you want to get a good spot itâs absolutely a full day thing. Since I only go once every couple/few years I donât mind getting there early, chilling in line and just smoking weed/drink beers until doors open.
I think I was just gonna respond saying I agree the sound is almost always bad but itâs just cool to see a concert there and then I was like oh yeah I guess I could do that tonight
Same. Those bars always have no lines as well
I think the sound is incredible there. Seems like it got even better with new renovations
Sound can really suck above row 35, especially with wind. Very good at 20ish
idk it seems mixed well and if weather isnt obstructing sound, sound is good. such is the way with some outdoor amphitheaters
Sound was pretty solid up in row 38.
For sure, thatâs why I always aim for rows 20-25. Red rocks is one venue I donât mind getting there before doors and just hanging out in line drinking and meeting people. Always a good time.
I was center row 20 last night and plan to do the same tonight. Iâll be hanging out by the upper south ramp if anyone wants to meet up there!
