Lol, well played, I’m surprised that hasn’t been said in the past. I have no shame in melting over how much Waful sucked balls, the stories I’ve heard make me legit want to throat chop him.
Care to elaborate? He’s long gone now, so who cares.
I won’t go into the ugly details because I like to have respect for those who I’m close with in team UM but basically, he was a prima donna who felt he was above everyone else.
He didn’t think he should have to help with anything besides actually running lights, he didn’t want to help with load in/out, set up/break down, etc. He said that was the crews job, which it is to an extent but everyone carries their weight. I’m fairly certain that Andy still sets up his equipment almost every night and only allows Britches to set it up, if he doesn’t himself, just to give you an example.
He really alienated himself from the crew to the point where none of them could stand him so he demanded that he be able to ride on the band’s bus while touring instead of the crew’s bus which was immediately shot down so he quit on the spot. This left the band in the big pinch with the Chattanooga - Dayton run starting the very next day so they had to fly in (blanking on his name at the moment) to run lights that weekend, totally unprofessional on his part. The back injury was a complete sham and his way of covering up his temper tantrum.
I recently heard that he had sent an email to Bobby that was basically an airing of grievances where he broke down problems he has with everyone in Team UM including the band members, I haven’t been told any of the details of that email but I heard it was as childish as it gets.
Again, people will say “a celebrity got a big ego, etc” but this is a bit different, IMO. He had some balls being the new guy and showing his ass like that, I’m glad they told him to fuck off. Even more so, I couldn’t be happier to hear how well Benny Factor is fitting in with everyone.

Oof yeah I had a general idea, but that is not a good look. Don’t know what you mean about ‘being the new guy’ though. He had been the LD for 10 years at that point.
LD for 10 years out of the bands 20+ year existence, still the new guy on the block. I also forgot to mention in my long post that I’ve also been told these are the same reasons he left moe.

Just playing devil’s advocate here, but they had many changes to the crew after Waful. Most notably Chris, Andrew, and Bobby. He was hardly “the new guy” by the time he left.
Valid point, I was actually just trying to figure out when Chris came on to double check myself. Queen and Bobby are long time friends/fans of theirs though, right? I feel like they’ve been around forever.
Chris came on in early 2011. I can’t remember exactly when Bobby and Andrew came on, but I distinctly remember it being around when I was seeing my most shows around 2010-11, which was after Waful.
I think the handoff show was 1.31.11 or somewhere in that late-Jan/early-Feb window.
