Interesting read. Timecoded lights are great but I’ve always been concerned about their inclusion in jamband shows. Cool to see he figured out how to try it out without potentially messing with the loose nature of the show.

That’s not all Waful offered. He had some killer Vines.

That Ben Factor article was a cool read.

Hahahah

‘Leave Me Las Vegas’ is the first single released from the forthcoming album that has a name so long I don’t feel like typing it out.

I lold at that part. Very cool read!

Damn he was still in high school in 2013. I didn’t realize he was so young. I need to get my act together

Was not terribly impressed with the lights last night. There were some good moments but it seemed like he wasn’t really doing much a lot of the time. I know that may be a good thing for some but I found myself missing waful a bit

100% agree with this

I’ll give Ben awhile before I consider comparing him to waful. Ben doesn’t even have a single full tour under his belt yet. His first tour was ended short by Covid and since then it’s just been a few gigs here and there with not enough time to really get his creativity and skills in motion.

Was N2 any better than N1?

I thought so. By a lot. But also, drugs are tite, so who knows?

I really enjoyed the light show last night. Didn’t see night 1.

In the 3 shows I saw this tour, he’s shown glimpses of greatness, but its gonna take another year or so to be as consistent as Waful was. Theres no doubt in my mind though that Ben will be the tier 2 goat sooner than later.

Cool interview with Ben about his design process.

Yeah I definitely liked his setup there. Interesting how the creative process works for him. I like that he’s into the history of it and uses that to help him make designs. Also love that he pitched that first rig, would have been insane lol.

That was a cool read. Whether I like his designs at this point or not, it’s cool having a real creative LD out with the band

Damn that was an awesome read. I really enjoy how much thought Ben puts into these things and his ability to use the rendering software to try out different rig styles/ideas. Really cool

Does every LD do that?

The first rig he pitched was pretty meh compared to the final design imo. The first picture was the old AC/DC rig image

Ah, I got that mixed up. That thing is wild
