I fucking loved Children of Bodom. Alexi was just incredible to watch growing up and learning how to play guitar. RIP

WHAT THE FUCK!!! Damnit!! What a loss he was an incredible guitarist. Shit I remember seeing COB on a roadrunner tour and they crushed it. He walked out to introduce everyone and was straight up like “we know how to party but this elevation is fucking us up…” and then he crushed the entire show.
huge loss for sure. Can’t say im super surprised, but it still fucking sucks nonetheless. He was really starting to get visibly unhealthy these past few years.
Won’t ever change how impactful and talented he was though. I remember being sooo fucking stoked when I’d get an issue of Guitar World in and he’d be on the cover or one of the CoB songs was tabbed in the back.
