The first set banter is pretty hilarious too, with bobby (i think it was bobby) telling the crowd to kindly not jump on the seats because the ohio theatre was newly renovated.

They just played Chicago in December. I skipped that one cause I caught them in the suburbs in January last year.
Yeah. Not knocking Kimock, just brought him up because they’ve been touring. With that said, age has had its toll on him. Jimmy vs. him is totally difference stratospheres right now. Recent Kimock tends to put me to sleep, if I’m being 100% honest. Used to love him

Saw whole show Kimock once with EOTO and Tim Carbone from RRE. That was FUN!!

Heard that, saw kimock a year or two ago and he can still play really well but I was struggling to stay awake. It’s pretty impressive how hard Jimmy can go at the age of 60 or 61.

The Dark Star from this DP is probably my favorite GD jam of all time. I know it’s a repeat jam, and I can’t remember what it is called/coined, but something about it caught my ear and stuck with me ever since

Yeah, mine too. It hits the balance between chaos and beauty pretty darn good. I know there are more out there DSes, but this one is my desert island one.
Prolly an unpopular opinion, I really like how Jeff Chimenti plays in dark stars, because he is more on the beauty side of it.

Watching some JRAD this evening. I just love Metzger’s demeanor so much. Dude is so chill but can tell he absolutely loves it.
