I should have probably stated this sooner, but to make it explicitly clear, the term “private message” in no way garauntees privacy. Admins can see everything written within this web application. A more fitting term would be “Personal Message”
While nobody here is actively searching through the PMs of users, users deserve to know that admins 100% have that power.

No one. I was just thinking about it while tending to some admin duties. The term “Private Message” seemed like a misnomer and kind of messed up. I wanted people to know there is no privacy there.
The Bort doesn’t sell any data (keep them patreon subscriptions rolling fam), and I think users of systems deserve to know who can see what, so therefore the thread. Hopefully there is never a problem. I imagine there never will be, but I didn’t want users to get the idea that using a “Private Message” here is any more useful than “Incognito Mode” using google chrome from your home ISP router
