Yeah no worries man, music is subjective. I like AQ and Mungion but hate Spafford lmao. I’m a big fan of Goose myself and understand the “won’t shut the fuck up about them” part. It really is a lot of intensity about how they’re the next best thing and it never stops. Saw someone compare Rick to Jerry and I lost it on them lol

Yep, Goose does nothing for me. Good band I guess, but the fandom is super annoying and I just don’t see what stands out about them. I love Spafford. Don’t really listen to them much in my free time anymore, but one of my favorite bands in the scene to see live. I will give Goose another shot some day, but so far they are 0/2 for me in the live setting.

Oh, for sure. I just get sick of people trying to tell me Goose is the next Phish. After one of the shows I saw I was talking to some people about the night post show, and when I said it was alright, but I didn’t quit get it, you would have thought I killed a puppy. I was told how my ears don’t work and I must not be able to truly understand the complexity. Fanboys gonna fanboi, though.

I was at a Spafford show in Birmingham in January and during the first set some random wook comes up to me and asks if I’ve seen Goose before. I was like what the fuck man, I’m trying to watch a show…and no, Goose bores the shit out of me hahahaha.
He just sadly walked away…
