Morning Song is a crazy choice (shoutout to my sister’s divorce). After the song Bayliss said “Stasik said he thought it wasn’t the right song for the moment, but I told him I’d prove him wrong”
I remember it being bayliss saying “I didn’t think this was the right time, but Ryan said it was, and I trust him, and it turns out he was right” or something
This is also the first Jakeless Intentions (first since 2/4). Seems like in that one the chorus might be tricky for BB to hold everything down on guitar and sing at the same time. Guess we will find out!
Virtue is far from my fave but a year is ridiculous and it does feature some great improv often. Happy to see it back!
No Diablo also felt like an incredibly unhinged song in this time but I get that they’re not overthinking everything like I am. Seems like they’re trying to maintain normalcy and stability as much as possible
I mean they’re doing you a favor.. it’s not that No Diablo is a bad song, it just has a difficult time fitting into a live setting. With that being said you get a pissbreak song towards the end of the 1st set, beat the setbreak line and you’re back in time for Rocker II
