Red Tape is the perfect daylight set banger

I got a late start. This Fancy is pretty tight.

Same. Just coming in now. Didn’t even see the RT. I just meant from a song vibe. Red Tape usually produces and I think it plays well pre-sunset.

This is a pretty cool atmospheric jam in the 'ol Red Tape

Nothing too crazy this set but seems like a cool venue with a decent turnout from the stream

BB put in some work on Higgins. Puddled me.

Thought he had a good flow going halfway through the Slacker. Like that delayed/echo effect or whatever it is. And I usually just skip past slacker, as I don’t love the song and it rarely produces anything.

He’s putting in work on this linear as well. He’s been working hard lately

Been very solid set for opening things up. This The Linear easily the jam of the set but it’s all sounded pretty good. I definitely like hearing Joel and Pony turned up.

Good linear. I thought bayliss might drop right back into n2f but it sounds likes he’s gonna do it proper

I don’t go to PT, but is that enthusiasm for UM common on there?

IDK… just seems like people are pretty high on UM right now, and i like it.

haha most definitely not, so nice to see. I think really crushing this MW tour and tomorrow night hopefully is huge. They sound loose and yet focused, it’s genuinely great to hear.

Looking forward to tomorrow night.

Higgins outro solo was jawdropping. Much better than the other attempts I’ve heard. Brendan has the HUNGER again, and I’m just glad to be along for the ride.

Improvwise, this set started off really hot with the Fancy and then cooled but was still a fun listen. I enjoyed how Fancy was a “composing a song on the fly” jam as opposed to a straight “build to a peak.” Several good motifs here. This style of jam has been largely missing without Jake, and it’s good to see.

I also enjoyed how the Red Tape jam went for the ballsy key change (necessitating a really tricky but successful key change back into the outro), even though improvwise it didn’t amount to much…this time.

It ended with back into Fancy I think, or did I imagine that?

Watching the moe. set and I dunno if Rob can’t hear himself, but he’s been off-key this whole song. Woof.

Hasn’t been the same since the throat cancer. He used to have one of the best voices in the scene and now it’s super hit or miss.

I saw a lot of moe. shows in the late-90’s and moe. was my favorite and that was mostly due to Rob’s voice

Great singer, and that he could do that while playing really complicated bass parts always astounded me.
