This Baba O’Riley has Joel doing the intro, like The Who. At Deep Dive Bayliss tried to play it like Jake but he really muffed it. I didn’t realize until now how exceptional it was for Jake to play that part on guitar so cleanly.
I skimmed through the beginning and end of each track and I guess they never said anything about Jake?
They didn’t play Don’t You Forget About Me, no

That’s a great setlist, especially considering it was a free show. I went to 1 of those free shows in Buffalo way back when & that was also a good setlist. Solidifies my faith in their abilities as a 5 piece. Obviously gonna miss Jake, but the band plays on

Oh wow! This is sooo much better than the black mountain one!! That one was quite cringe. Pretty much reworked the whole ending. Slower build to still a great peak. This makes me happy
And just like that… Jake is gone

There are some composed sections that remind me of the band breakup scene in “Pick of Destiny”.
