Saw the Franklin’s coming after the last song of the UM set was HotW - glad they finished it in the collab e, fun stuff
Maybe if we’re privileged enough to do this again sometime the venue will give everyone at least an hour set. Growing pains of a new venue. giving a 2 hour doors before first note is an odd promoter choice lol.
Looks like it was a stellar day, good cap to the weekend, glad the weather cooperated. Pumped to listen
Encore looks fantastic.
Staircase, August and Small Strides all feature HUGE guitar peaks where Bayliss tries to build to previous intensity levels but with just one guitar. Staircase is the most successful one of these (probably because it has the most room to breathe), but it was interesting and fun to hear a set where BB was hellbent on fireworks. I wouldn’t want this all the time, but I could feel his playing stretching itself during this show.
