Probably reading into it too much, but that first set kind of looks like a cryptic message.
I often wonder, “What would Bayliss say?” at trying times in my life and I’ve definitely read into setlist construction too much at times. That is interesting you pointed that out because I for sure didn’t pick up on that at first glance.
remember his 40th birthday show where he wrote the setlist and it was all songs like Morning Song, Final Word, The Good Times Are Killing Me

Dear god what the fuck is going on in that 1st set.
It’s interesting to see how the second set was originally planned with three newer songs getting JOed on paper. I personally wouldn’t mind a show where the oldest jam vehicles of the night were Attachments and Draconian with the focus being on Unevolved, Concessions, Staircase, etc.
Chasing Concessions, Unevolved, Out of Focus, and Cut Off right now.
I can’t say I’ve ever heard the first three songs. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Cut Off, mainly because one night in Sandpoint you told me the song they were playing was Cut Off.
Concessions I saw in Boulder first time they split it up but Lego 3 is from the best jam of the decade the 2023 Philly Silent Type I could listen to it on repeat forever so damn umspirational! But Unevolved which I also caught in Boulder with a Dr. Feelgood jam is my new favorite song off Blueprints. “I’ll try to be brief but I’m not sure I understand!!!” belts Bayliss! That shit speaks to me. Out of Focus I haven’t seen live yet but my favorite segment with it so far is from Asheville 2024 first night the Out of Focus → Phils segue is so smooth then a great Phils jam possibly the best of the last ten years sandwiched in with the end of Out of Focus. Cut Off came out of New Years 2016 run so it’s a bit older than the UMBowl Raw Stewage tracks I mentioned previously but they played a sick one in Saxpahaw or whatever that odd town was in North Carolina in early 2025 so I’m hoping it stays in semi rotation think they played it once with Scotty so far.

Well it was an UM show.
Dude’s post history is basically all bitching so I’m interested into seeing why he thought the show was ass.
I mean the first set doesn’t look like something I’d put together to bring any new fans in but I’d be interested to hear what the improv and segues sounded like in a set like that since a six song set should have a couple jams in it.
The fact that this show is still not up on Nugs yet is annoying because we got drive by lurkers talking shit without anyway to confirm if their opinions are valid. If they would at least elaborate on the negativity I’d be thrilled.
