Excited to hear a second set opening Unevolved. Really liked the Boulder and Cincinnati versions played so far in 2026.

My buddy at the show says the jam was “price of admission” worthy.

They played like 60% of turnin knobs in it doesn’t matter. It was really fuckin cool.

New deal jam in 1348

Absolutely stellar show. I never thought I would say that about a show that roughly amounted to have 5 covers but it really was an amazing experience.

Unevolved might be a top 10 Umphreys song. They put a sick jam in it. Replaced a section of the song. It was really good

Do what? The Dopapod song?

Yea! So unexpected but since they had the keyboardist and former drummer of dopapod they just went for it

What a show! Big jams this evening, felt like they really were taking things out for a ride. Big Bridgeless, IDM, Mantis, Slacker > ICG4T all worth revisiting. My type of setlist. Getting closer to 80 shows and been seeing this band for nearly 16 years to the day. Seemed pretty filled in as the show went on. The Fillmore suits them much better than the BB next door, more room to breathe.

Good times :clinking_beer_mugs:

I like that jam placement in Unevolved. Middle eastern shred peak which was fun

My first show with Scotty. Thought the unevolved and 1348 jams were great. Thought the bridgeless jam was going to take off and then got cut short. Mantis jam was good too but looked like stasik had a technical issue that caused it to also fizzle out. Overall much better than the last show I saw with Kris. They could cut a couple songs and jam more, but that’s mostly always the case.

I liked IDM a lot. Eli sounds like he was having a blast.

Looked like UM surprised him with the Turnin Knobs jam https://www.instagram.com/stories/eli.winderman/3832140260415636583?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igsh=eDByYjIybnV5OXp1

I Can’t Go For That, is this the first time the band is playing a cover that Kris usually sang lead on? Maybe not the first but it’s been pretty rare if it’s not the first time.

Damn this is so cool. Definitely looks like it took him a second to notice. Fuck I forgot how much I miss Dopapod

Can we please shelve no crying in Mexico, you got the wrong guy and le blitz. So overplayed when they have so many better openers that never get any play like Jekyll and hyde, catshot and tango Mike.

Flamethrower, Nipple Trix are another couple that are underplayed

This unevolved is tight.

Depth Charge as well.

Each show is better than the night before, this week. Loved the cover/cover jam choices, and +1 on the Unevolved fluff.

The riff towards the end of ICGFT really makes me think of the Doors’ Changeling. I wouldn’t hate if UM ever tried that.
