Suxity is a Scotty debut as well.

25 min FP based on tweet times?

Up on Nugs. 23:40.

Through the 1st set so far, and it’s pretty solid. 2X2, B1/2, and Phil’s are fun.

Front Porch is excellent.

Suxity is so bad

Front Porch having to be sandwiched between that and Looks is unfortunate.

Looks jam crushed though.

Looks has a pretty high hit rate when it gets a 4-6 minute tight metal jam.

At the very last second of 2x2 you can hear someone yell out “NACHOS FOR TWO!”

The Phil’s is the highlight for me. Great textures

Fucking love this FP

It truly sucks they put such a nostalgic bottom half b-side lyric in a newbie mid song.

But overall this show reinforced that first sets this tour are > 2nd sets. Atmosfarag a personal fav bust out - I think I like the stripped down way vs too intense Joel synth in recent years. Idk

Generally do love how they’re playing this year tho.

Setlist is great. Nice to see Atmosfarag

This show is real good, folks. It should be in SOTY discussion. FP is the obvious highlight and the only true JOTY contender here, but this is one of those shows where just about every jam hits a textural sweet spot, even despite most of them being on the shorter end. You know they’re playing well when Bottom Half actually gets a type 2 jam (this has NOT happened much in the last decade - and it’s great!) Other highlights include the energetic funk groove in 2x2, the industrial metal jam in Looks, the Joel-led atmosphere of Phil’s, and the very satisfyingly built uptempo dance party of 1348 (yes, there are MJ teases here, but Jake resists the urge to let them take over the jam entirely and they end up supporting it.) The Kabump → Exit Signs is also very well executed.
