Ooooo… might hear a Sociable this weekend?

Prior to listening - To echo a previous statement, they’re really playing a lot more tracks during this tour, and not sure I’m a fan.

If I went to this show and saw the silent type encore, and then saw that SF1 > 2 was scratched out in the setlist I’d blow a gasket

If they play the right songs and it flows I don’t mind more songs.

Wait you’d rather see Silent Type?

I think he’s saying if the reverse had happened (Silent Type was the encore) he would not be thrilled.

Tasty looking setlist. I could do without Regulate but S2 looks great and Encore is sick

Why nugs take so loooong lately? I do my best to avoid reading the setlist before I listen to avoid “spoilers” and I’m antsy

You’re a crazy person. Regulate is, imho, on the Mount Rushmore of UM covers.

and a 10-song first set is just wrong.

Day Nurse 17 mins on nugs, surely the longest ever?

By just peeking at the setlist, I’d potentially suspect it may be another confused tracking situation, as there could be a chunk of the AIT end that is seen as DN? Just a thought :man_shrugging:

Nope… it’s a 2 jam Day Nurse.

Love the flow in this show. Good uses of → and good sandwiches. Nothing super noteworthy in the jams and yes it’s too big a setlist but it’s got good vibes and pacing throughout

I usually find it to be pretty bland when they jam Day Nurse but I liked this one quite a bit. I also enjoyed Ringo 1st. Loved how we fit Regulate in the Ringo segment without sacrificing a jam section.

Edit: Oh yeah, Baby You’re A Rich Man sandwiches are back! Heck yes to that.

This Day Nurse absolutely rules. I thought they were done around 8 mins and saw how much time was still left.

Finally going thru this banger, and the part where BB mentions Andy lived in Bloomington before joining UM promoted me to dig up this gem

This was an early insight into Andy for me and kinda summed up his approach to perc (kind of jokingly but also he has such a dgaf personality it allows him to stay extremely in the pocket and not need to be heard or do anything fancy which is the classic fuckup of a lot of percussionists. I’ve always called him the silent assassin lol. Sounded cool on L in high school #jambandcringe)

I haven’t thought about this video in a LONG time

Only other perc guy I’ve seen really is Mike Dillon several times. Watching Xanadu’s demeanor behind the percs, compared to his during his Claypool days, is quite the difference.

Wonder if they still use Andy’s dad’s travel agency.
