01/29/2026 - The Bluebird Nightclub in Bloomington, Indiana.
Set 1
Bright Lights, Big City>Uncle Wally, Similar Skin>Baby You’re A Rich Man>Similar Skin, Pure Saturation>Walletsworth, FF>Cemetery Walk I>Cemetery Walk II
Set 2
All In Time>Hangover, Ringo>Regulate>Ringo, Day Nurse>All In Time reprise
By just peeking at the setlist, I’d potentially suspect it may be another confused tracking situation, as there could be a chunk of the AIT end that is seen as DN? Just a thought
Love the flow in this show. Good uses of → and good sandwiches. Nothing super noteworthy in the jams and yes it’s too big a setlist but it’s got good vibes and pacing throughout
I usually find it to be pretty bland when they jam Day Nurse but I liked this one quite a bit. I also enjoyed Ringo 1st. Loved how we fit Regulate in the Ringo segment without sacrificing a jam section.
Edit: Oh yeah, Baby You’re A Rich Man sandwiches are back! Heck yes to that.
Finally going thru this banger, and the part where BB mentions Andy lived in Bloomington before joining UM promoted me to dig up this gem
This was an early insight into Andy for me and kinda summed up his approach to perc (kind of jokingly but also he has such a dgaf personality it allows him to stay extremely in the pocket and not need to be heard or do anything fancy which is the classic fuckup of a lot of percussionists. I’ve always called him the silent assassin lol. Sounded cool on L in high school #jambandcringe)
Only other perc guy I’ve seen really is Mike Dillon several times. Watching Xanadu’s demeanor behind the percs, compared to his during his Claypool days, is quite the difference.
Wonder if they still use Andy’s dad’s travel agency.
