The way they explain it here sure seems like 7/4
The way they explain it here sure seems like 7/4
Only 7/4 is 2 measures of 7/4 then a 3/4 right before the castanets.
Rest essentially 4/4 or 8/8 however you wanna slice it but I tend to count the crazy sections by the guitars like for the intro I see it as 2 rounds of 8/8, 7/8, 9/8, 8/8
Not sure what they’re referring to in the video but the intro is 4/4. It just has an odd feel because of how they displace the rhythm. And it stays in 4/4 throughout most of it.
Off hand the one part I can think of that could be heard in 7 is the bit before the 5/8 part. But I hear it more as alternating 4 and 3.
I just can’t count it in 7/8 anywhere else lol. Musicians never actually know their own songs’ time sigs
I’ve only listened to the 1999 > HBB and holy smokes. Sounds incredible and the band is ripping.. Joel especially in HBB
The drop into HBB was so smooth
8pm sharp, eh? Was hoping 8:30 due to work and getting up there from Denver.
Welcome to the board! ![]()
Welcome and so far this year, they’ve started every show fairly prompt. 8 is show time
I thought his small profile pic was low res @Whinergetsnothing ‘s old profile pic
They need more of that
The brad pitt pfp? You might need glasses
Who’s going tonight
Maybe I just subconsciously want to see Pitt
This show rips. Pretty fire throughout but set 2 goes hard. Great example of how good UM 3.0 can be.
Fenced In and OB stand outs for me here. Both awesome
who is doing the art for these Nugs album covers for this run? Dig it.
Fenced In is another UM song I’ve never listened to before and just put this one on. Pretty tight.
Yeah, I like the song and maybe the best version. Not elite improv by any means, but solid.
This is definitely my fav show of the CO run. Good stuff start to finish
The Plunger and Half Delayed vox, man. Taking 30+ minutes each show to dial in the sound after 100+ shows doing this is crazy. Does the sound guy sleep through soundcheck?
